Retired Pakistani General Shahid Aziz died in 2018, claims Al Qaeda

Nawa-e-Afghan Jihad, a magazine published by a regional branch of Al Qaeda has claimed that retired Pakistani General Shahid Aziz, who disappeared a few years ago had died in 2018. The magazine also claimed that Aziz had close ties with the Al-Qaeda. When rumors of his death and disappearance were spreading widely in 2018, Aziz’s relatives denied these claims mentioning that the former general is living a very private life.
