Russian hackers used reseller access to Microsoft Corp to breach targets: CrowdStrike Holdings

According to the security company CrowdStrike Holdings Incorporation, Russian hackers behind the worst US cyber attack in years used the reseller access to Microsoft Corp services to penetrate the customers. The hackers got access to the vendor that sold it Office licenses and used that to try to read CrowdStrike's email. However, CrowdStrike wasn't much affected by the breach as it does not use SolarWinds.
