Sad over demise of owner, pet dog jumps to death in Kanpur

In a sheer display of attachment and unconditional love, a pet dog named Jaya, sad over the demise of her owner, Dr Anita Raj Singh, jumped from a building to end its life. Dr Anita worked as joint director in the health department and lived in the Malikpuram area of Barra-2. She had rescued the dog in a very poor state with maggots all over her body. The dog had started barking and wailing after seeing Dr Anita's dead body.
