Saudi man held for crashing speeding car into gates of Mecca's mosque

A Saudi man was held by the authorities after he crashed his speeding car into the outer gates of Mecca's Grand Mosque on Friday night. As per the reports, the man was in an "abnormal" condition. The incident took place at 10:30 pm on Friday. The mosque has been shut down by the authorities amid the coronavirus pandemic. However, a certain group of faithful people can still visit the mosque and offer prayers.
