The massive explosion that hit Beirut's port killing over 150 people, left a 43-metre deep crater, a security official said today. According to the officials, the explosion was caused after a fire broke out in the port warehouse which had a huge shipment of ammonium nitrate, the chemical normally used for fertilisers and also for making explosives. The blast was so massive that it is being compared with Hiroshima explosion.
