Some Nepalese FM channels play anti-India speeches in between Nepali songs amid tensions with the country

Amid rising tensions with India, Nepal's FM radio channels close to the border with India are broadcasting propaganda to back Kathmandu's claim on Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura. Nepal recently adopted a new political map showing these areas as part of its own territory. "Some Nepalese FM channels started playing anti-India speeches in between Nepali songs," said Shalu Datal, a resident of Dantu village in Pithoragarh.
