The SpiceJet turbulence incident, which is being probed by India's aviation watchdog DGCA has taken an interesting turn. After SpiceJet saying that all regulations were followed when the Boeing B737 aircraft operating the Mumbai-Durgapur flight suffered a severed turbulence, DGCA says that there were lapses in procedure. As per a preliminary report by DGCA, the plane was on "autopilot mode" when it faced turbulence.
