Strong winds over Europe killed thousands of birds

High winds over Greece has killed thousands of birds that were migrating to Europe from Africa as part of their yearly cycles. On Athens’ street, hundreds of birds were found. Thousands of birds were found in the Aegean Islands and in other places. Wildlife protection groups are calling this a major disaster. They have asked people to be careful as the exhausted birds might take refuge in the mainland and look for food.
