According to a study published in the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science, the influenza vaccine does not increase a person’s risk of getting affected by the novel coronavirus. According to the study, the flu vaccination is even more important this year to avoid a ‘twindemic’ of flu and Covid-19. More than 13,000 patients who tested for Covid-19 between early March and mid-April were analysed by the researchers.
