Supreme Court clears project to bring African Cheetah to India

The Supreme Court today gave its nod to a project to bring African Cheetah to India. The top court also ordered proper study on the subject. The Cheetah will be released in an "ideal location" to be decided by a panel after a survey. The process, from identifying the sites to the introduction of the animals, will be monitored by the panel. A report will be submitted by the panel every four months.
