Supreme Court gives clearance to Metro car shed construction in Aarey; No more trees to be cut

In a major development in the disputed Aarey case, The Supreme Court has today given the clearance to the Maharashtra government to go ahead with the Metro car shed construction in the Aarey area. The decision came after the government argued that it has already cut down the trees that were required to be cut. However, the court has said that there will be no more cutting of trees till the next hearing on November 15.
