Supreme Court seeks response from the Centre on fixing a price cap for treatment of Covid-19 patients

Amid the rising number of coronavirus cases in India, Supreme Court has sought a response from the Centre on fixing a price cap for treatment of Covid-19 patients as it agreed to consider a PIL for fixing an upper limit for bills by private hospitals. The case will be heard after a week. Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases in India crossed 109,462. India is now the seventh worst-hit nation.
