Surat cop who pointed out Minister's son for violating lockdown rules says she resigned from service, senior denies

Police constable Sunita Yadav who had a confrontation with a minister's son for lockdown violation which led to his arrest said on Wednesday that she had resigned from service, but senior officials denied. "She has not given her resignation. The inquiry is still on and technically she can not resign at this juncture," said Surat police commissioner R B Brahmbhatt. Sunita had claimed that seniors didn't support her.
