Telugu is the fastest growing language in the US

According to a recent study by an American Think tank that the number of people speaking Telugu in US has increased by 86% between 2010 to 2017. Last year there were more than 400,000 Telugu speakers which is nearly double than it was in 2010. During the mid-1990s there was a rapid growth of IT and many software engineers were recruited from Hyderabad. This is one of the reasons behind the rise of Telugu.
