The city of Sydney officially declared “Climate Emergency”

Climate change is a huge threat on earth, and on Tuesday, the Australian city of Sydney a climate emergency and has called for a price on carbon. Sydney mayor said on Twitter that they have called the Federal government to respond urgently to reintroduce a price on carbon and meet the Paris Agreement emissions reduction targets. Australia has witnessed a steady increase in greenhouse gas emission in the last few years.
