The US coast guard rescued three Cuban nationals who were stranded on a desert island for about five weeks. The two men and a woman were living in Anguilla Cay for 33 days after their boat capsized. They survived by eating coconuts, conchs and rats for almost 33 days. "We were alerted to them by the flags that they actually had in addition to a large cross that they put out there for themselves," said Helicopter pilot Mike Allert.
