1st person to get cured of HIV, Timothy Ray Brown passed away at 54

Timothy Ray Brown made history as the first person to get cured of HIV infection has passed away at the age of 54. He died at his California home because of cancer recurrence. Brown had received bone marrow & stem cell transplants in 2007 & 2008 which eradicated both his leukemia & HIV for years. He was working as a translator in Berlin when he was diagnosed with HIV & later leukemia. His physician Gero Huetter called it sad.
