Trump administration's new rules on tech visas blocked by US judge

The new visa rules that were ordered by outgoing President Donald Trump regarding H1-B visas have been blocked by a US federal judge. A lawsuit was filed against the Department of Homeland Security by the US Chamber of Commerce, the Bay Area Council and others. US District Court Judge Jeffrey White blocked two rules that included higher wages for H1-B visa workers and trimming of job types that qualify for the visas.
