Twitter suspends Iranian news agencies

Twitter suspended a number of Iranian news agency accounts for alleged harassment of people who follow the Baha'i faith. The affected agencies claim the ban is linked to their coverage of tensions in the region. However, Twitter has made it clear the accounts were suspended for the recent coordinated and targeted harassment of people associated with Baha'i, a minority faith in Iran who doesn’t recognize the religion.
