Uber sued New York City's Taxi and Limousine Commission trying to overturn limits on drivers cruising without passengers. This is for the second time that the company has sued New York City this year. The company sued the authorities one month after the Taxi and Limousine Commission approved an extension on its cap on the number of Uber and Lyft vehicles permitted to operate within the city.
