UK annual New Year's honours list: Composer Nitin Sawhney leads the Indian-origin achievers

The list of 30 Indian-origin high achievers in different fields for UK's annual New Year's honours is led by award-winning musician & composer Nitin Sawhney, who has been made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). The list, which honours achievements of a wide range of "extraordinary people", also includes Gurinder Singh Josan for political service and Sridevi Kalindindi for rehabilitation services.
