UN Report: More Indians becoming obese while number of undernourished people dropped

According to the UN report, there is an increase in the number of Indians becoming obese, whereas the number of undernourished people declined and globally over 820 million people are suffering from hunger. The number of undernourished people declined from 253.9 million in 2004-06 to 194.4 million in 2016-18. However, the number of adults grew obese from 24.1 million in 2012 to 32.8 million in 2016.
