UN says Coronavirus spreading because billions don’t have water to wash hands

According to the United Nations group UN-Water, a key reason behind the spread of the novel coronavirus is that billions of people across the world don't have water to wash their hands. The global body said nearly 3 billion people don’t have access to running water and soap at home, and 4 billion suffer from severe water scarcity for at least one month a year. Two out of every 5 people face a severe household water shortage.
