UP's first Butterfly park inaugurated in Kanpur

Amid environment degradation in India, Uttar Pradesh government has come up with state's first ever butterfly park in Kanpur, with a cost of Rs 1 crore. According to officials, to attract the butterflies, more than 100 species, including 40 species of evergreen flowers namely Calendula, Gulmehendi and Dahlia, of flowers have been planted. However, more than 50 species of butterflies have been observed till now.
