UP government announces Rs. 45 lakh and a job each for Lakhimpur violence victims' kin

The Uttar Pradesh government and protesting farmers have reached an agreement after hours of talk following the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. As per the agreement, the state government will provide Rs. 45 lakh and a job to families of the four deceased farmers. Rs. 10 lakh will be given to those injured in the incident. After the talks, the farmers have allowed the administration to do the final rites of the deceased.
