According to a report by Syrian media on Sunday, US armed forces destroyed their own airbase in Al-Hasakah province in northeast Syria before abandoning it and withdrawing troops. The report says The US troops dropped bombs on its military base with landing facilities for transport aircraft in the Tal Baydar near the town of Tal Tamr, where the fighting between the Kurdish forces and the Turkish army is underway.
