US, Canada warships sail through Taiwan strait, China calls it peace-threatening

Tensions in the Taiwan strait continue to rise as US and Canada sent their warships to the sensitive region that China claims as its own. China condemned the act by US and Canada while calling it peace-threatening. This comes weeks after China sent nearly 150 aircraft into Taiwan's air defence identification zone. The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Dewey of US sailed through the narrow strait.
