Violence against arms costs US $229 billion a year says Reports

A study said that gun violence costs the US $229 billion annually, representing 1.4% of its GDP. The study was commissioned by Congressional Democrats, using information from the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence and the Centers for Disease Control for a state-by-state assessment of gun violence expenses.
