Violent clash breaks out in Assam-Mizoram border, several people injured

Several people were left injured after a violent clash broke out on the Assam-Mizoram border between two groups. The violence took place at the Lailapur area in Assam's Cachar district on Saturday evening. Several houses were set ablaze by the miscreants during the clash. Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal dialled PMO to apprise the PM and Home Minister of the situation. He also dialled his counterpart Zoramthanga to discuss the issue.
