Kristalina Georgieva, IMF MD, warned that the world is into a recession which will be worse than that of the global financial crisis in 2008 due to the coronavirus. She said it is a crisis like no other and never in the history of IMF, one has witnessed the world economy coming to a standstill. She pinpoints dual crisis- health and economic crisis due to COVID-19 in unprecedented in the history of IMF.
