Wealthiest Chinese citizens put on notice by President Xi Jinping

Chinese Communist Party premier Xi Jinping has put China's wealthiest citizens on notice in what he refers to as an outline for "common prosperity". Jinping aims to promote income regulation and redistribution to reduce the income inequality in the country. The Communist Party aims to improve its approval among the common people by reducing poverty in rural areas and levying high taxes on billionaires born from the tech industry.
