White House asks lawmakers for an urgent fund of $2.5 billion to combat coronavirus

The deadly coronavirus, which is believed to be spread from China's Wuhan has now become a global tension, and keeping the same into consideration, the White House on Monday sent lawmakers an urgent budget request for $2.5 billion to combat the virus. The White House budget office said the generated funds will be used for vaccines, treatment, and protective equipment, in order to fight the disease.
