Will soon see a woman Army Chief: General Naravane hails induction of women into NDAs

Indian Army chief General MM Naravane welcomed the decision to induct women cadets into the National Defence Academy while adding that we will soon have a woman Army Chief. “This is the first step towards gender equality as women will be trained at NDA and later inducted in the armed forces. For women’s training, the infrastructure will be a little different, but the training will be the same what is given to men," he said.
