Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged to fight climate change while speaking at the United Nations General Assembly. "China will step up support for other developing countries in developing green and low-carbon energy, and will not build new coal-fired power projects abroad," the Chinese premier said in a pre-recorded video address. He further said that China intends to manage international relations peacefully.
