World's oldest known cave painting found by archaeologists in Indonesia

The world's oldest known cave painting has been discovered by archaeologists in Indonesia. The painting is said to be over 45,500 years old. Basran Burhan, a doctoral student, spotted the painting on the island of Sulawesi in 2017. Basran was a part of a survey team. Etched on the Leang Tedongnge cave, it is a life-sized picture of a wild pig that measures 136 by 54 centimeters. It is named Sulawesi warty pig.
