"Worse things will happen if states aren't well prepared": Supreme Court seeks Covid report

The Supreme Court today sought status reports from Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Assam after a sudden spike in coronavirus cases in the four states. "Worse things will happen in December if states aren't well prepared," the apex court said. A three-judge bench of Justices Ashok Bhushan, R Subash Reddy and MP Shah asked the Delhi government about the efforts it was taking to control the "worsening" situation.
