Wuhan doctor whose skin changed colour after coronavirus treatment died after fighting the disease for five months

Dr Hu Weifeng, who contacted coronavirus in January, had been bed-bound for nearly three months before he died at a hospital in Wuhan. Hu was being treated in intensive care before finally losing his life to the virus. On April 22, he suffered a brain haemorrhage and underwent surgery but had been in a coma until he died, according to a senior doctor from the Sino-French New City Branch of Wuhan Tongji Hospital.
