Modi Govt’s health insurance scheme is not going to help those families which earn more than Rs 10,000 in a month or have a fridge or a 2-wheeler or other comforts. NHA which is executing AB-PMJAY has asked the states to remove such families from the program, said the officials. It was said that only those who were categorized as “deprived” in the SECC 2011, will get cashless hospitalization up to Rs 5 lakh every year.
