$5 Billion Cheque Bounce Affecting China-Pakistan Economic Corridor
As Pakistan’s National Highway Authority is facing a financial crisis, many road projects in $52 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor are facing problems. The contractors have stopped working after their $5 billion cheque bounced. This situation has also affected the local industries related to construction and many workforce engineers. Kashif Zaman, NHA spokesperson, has said that the issue will be resolved soon.
