100-rupee coin honouring Atal Bihari Vajpayee to be launched soon

Commemorating former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who passed away at the age of 93 this year, a 100-rupee coin featuring his image will be launched soon. The coin will have Vajpayee's portrait with his name and years 1945-2018 inscribed on it. The other side of the coin will have Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with words "Satyameva Jayate", "India" and "Bharat" inscribed in Devanagari.
