12 global firms show interest to shift base from China to India: Nirmala Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said about 12 global firms have shown interest to shift their base from China to India, to take advantage of 15% tax rate which was announced recently. The government had reduced the corporate tax rate by about 10% points in a bid to give a boost to sagging economy in September. The minister also added the word given for bringing new industries is actively moving forward.
