132.38 crore spent on GST advertisement by Govt

In reply to an RTI query Ministry of Information and Broadcasting officials have revealed that the expenditure on GST advertisement on print media is Rs 1,26,93,97,121. For outdoor media, the expenditure on GST stands at Rs 5,44,35,502. GST or the Goods and Service tax was implemented on 1st July 2017 and before and after its implementation government a media blitz to create awareness among the people about it.
