135 out of 170 applicants got angel tax exemptions from government

Nearly 170 start-up firms registered with DPIIT applied for the angel tax exemption through Form-2. The CBDT granted the angel tax exemption to 135 out of those 170 applicants till now. CBDT & DPIIT assured of their integration for digital information exchange where exempted start-ups will be identified in the CBDT system; that is there shall be no scrutiny notice generated against these start-ups.
