Police officer to face inquiry for arresting ISRO scientist

The Supreme Court today ordered an inquiry against the Kerala police officer who arrested ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan in the espionage case. Narayanan was arrested and suffered needlessly in 1994 and was given a compensation of Rs 50 lakh. Narayanan approached the Human Rights Commission for the mental agony he went through and today Supreme Court verdict came out on his appeal against the Kerala police.
