2 Haryana sisters denied passport as the authorities felt they look like Nepali

2 sisters in Haryana were denied a passport because the concerned officials thought that they resembled Nepali. One of the sisters said when they went to the passport office at Chandigarh, they saw our faces and wrote that 'applicant seems to be Nepali'. The sisters were asked to prove their nationality. They took the matter to minister Anil Vij after which the process of making their passport began.
