66% of newly elected MLAs of Meghalaya are "crorepatis"

As compared to 2013 election's 60% MLAs having an individual wealth of more than 1 crore, the 66% MLAs in 2018's state legislative assembly have an individual wealth of Rs 1 crore. This means that 39 out of 59 newly elected MLAs are considered to be "crorepatis". Apart from this, the sources of income of 7 MLAs have still not revealed by them. While the average of assets per MLA has decreased in 2018 as compared to 2013.
