Aadhar-PAN card linking deadline extended from Dec 31, 2019 to March 2020

The CBDT extended the deadline to link the Pan card with the Aadhar number till Mar 2020. Earlier the deadline for this linkage was 31 Dec 2019. Aadhar is issued by UIDAI to a resident of India & PAN is a 10-digit alphanumeric number issued by the IT dept. This is the 7th extension in the due date for the public to link the two identification numbers. If PAN is not linked with Aadhar by the due date, Pan will become inoperative.
