US District Judge Nicholas Garaufis has directed the Trump administration to accept new applications for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The program is aimed at protecting young immigrants from deportation. The federal judge asked the Trump administration Friday to fully reinstate the program. The judge gave the government three days to post a public notice regarding the DACA applications.
