Ahead of elections, Twitter too tightens norms for Indian political advertisers

Just a few days back, Facebook tightened the norms for the Indian political advertisers and now Twitter too has made some strict rules ahead of the elections over the display of political ads. Twitter has expanded its political ads policy and transparency approach to India, Australia, and all European Union member states after getting several warnings from India to control the spread of fake news on its platform.
