Ahead of LS elections, Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi joins BJP

Extending the league of celebrities joining BJP, singer Daler Mehndi has now joined the saffron party in the presence of Delhi unit President Manoj Tiwari and Union Minister Vijay Goel on Friday ahead of Lok Sabha elections in Punjab. A few days ago another singer Hans Raj Hans, cricketer Gautam Gambhir and Bollywood star Sunny Deol also joined BJP. Daler Mehndi had joined Congress in 2013.
